All the text, images, marks, logo marks, and other content of the Advisory Council on Underwater Archaeology website belong to the Advisory Council on Underwater Archaeology [ACUA] or is used with the owner’s permission or applicable regulations.

Individuals are welcome to view, download, and print ACUA site content subject to the following condition:

Bulletin Board

The ACUA may provide a bulletin board to post events, conferences, seminars, workshops, and festivals.  The ACUA monitors submissions for language and pertinence to the categories of the bulletin board. The ACUA does not edit nor control accuracy of the information posted on the bulletin board. The ACUA claims no proprietary rights of any kind for information distributed through the bulletin board.

Individuals who post events, conferences, seminars, workshops, and festivals pertaining to maritime issues are responsible for accuracy of information and completeness of information submitted for posting. Obtaining permission to post the event from the hosting organization is the responsibility of the individual submitting the bulletin board information and material.

Privacy Statement

The ACUA respects the privacy of every individual visiting the ACUA website. Information about you may be collected when you visit the ACUA website either by automatic tracking or more directly when you request a specific service.

The ACUA tracks how people use the website in terms of general statistics about visitors, traffic patterns, and related information in an anonymous form. To do this, the ACUA uses software integrated into the website that collects statistics from IP data. For example, the software records what time of day a visitor accesses the website, which country the visitor is from, how long the visitor stays at the website, and what type of browser the visitor is using. This information is used primarily to measure the popularity of various sectors of the website, allowing the staff to tailor future content.
